Righteous youth – A shared responsibility
The way young people perceive life is shaped by the environment created by the adults around them. It is therefore a sacred trust upon the shoulders of every adult, especially among the believers, to play a role in guiding the youth in accordance with divine guidance.
? When was the last time we became a source of inspiration that shaped the character of the next generation of believers?
The khutbah proposes four things we can do:
Be a good example
: Simply instructing them to do good, to perform their prayers, to abstain from sin, is not enough if they do not see us doing the same. Let us therefore strive to be, first and foremost, a mirror of the believer's character that we wish to see in them.
Guide with wisdom
